Introduction

Jot, it's saved! is a simple browser extension that allows you to quickly save notes directly from your browser. This documentation provides a brief overview of the extension's features and how to use them.

Installation

1. Open your preferred web browser (I have tested this only on Google Chrome ).
2. Turn on "Developers Mode".
3. Click on "locad Unpacked".
4. Select the file where you downloaded this code.
5. This will work only in sidebar panel.

Getting Started

After installing the extension, you'll find a small popup where you can jot down your notes. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Open the sidebar panel, select the extension by clicking on its icon.
2. Enter your note in the provided text area.
3. Click the "Save note" button to save your note.
4. To download all your notes, click the "Download note" button.

Export all your saved notes as a JSON file for offline access.

Receive toast messages for successful note saving or deletion.

Managing Notes

Viewing Notes

All saved notes are displayed in the extension popup.

Deleting Notes

Remove unwanted notes by clicking the delete button next to each note.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Cannot download notes. Notes storage is empty.

Solution: Save a note first, and then try downloading.
