This repo provides a boilerplate for creating a customized wallet using the Burner Wallet 2 libraries and assets on the Fuel Sidechain.

Visit burner.fuel.sh to try out the wallet.

Setup

1. Clone the repo
2. Run yarn install
3. Run yarn start to start the wallet on http://localhost:3000, or run yarn build to compile a production wallet into the build directory.

Fix iOS home screen icon image

Add the home screen metadata tag so we get a better icon.

Camera option not clear as fallback

When sending, It's not very clear that the camera option is available or the second option.

A flow like:
Not working? -> Use the camera and take a picture instead | or use Safari on IOS etc..

Or it will detect if the camera can work or is activated. The photo of the camera is not enough for me to realize that is even an option vs scanner.

Warn users not to use Chrome / Brave / Firefox etc. on IOS

iOS does not grant camera access to third-party browsers, thus burner should warn if not stop users from every creating keys on those browsers. And tell them to use / open Safari instead.

Some users created accounts, fauceted, but realized they couldn't access use the camera.

This is not good UX for these people.

Wallet allows zero value to be entered.

Looks like the wallet allows a zero value to be entered / approved / sent.

This should be checked / stopped.

Fix iOS homescreen camera

Seems like the Camera is not being requested / working in my homescreen version of this.

You need to do a bit of hacking around to get that to work on iOS.

Fix scrolling behaviour

If we want the app to feel more solid, we should / can prevent scrolling when the app is fully viewable in the phone window, i.e. when you pull down or push up, the app doesn't move like a website. There is a nice way to do this with fixed css positioning, it will take a bit of hacking.

This makes it feel more solid, like it can't be pulled or pushed when it shouldn't be.

Issue, Decimal Conversion

Looks like some aspect of input amount entry / decimal conversion is not playing nice with ethjs-unit.

Any ideas?

Add "add to home screen" flow for iOS users

We need to get more people adding this to their home screen.

A simple flow to handle home screen installation:

1. Wallet boots up
2. Present options: "Just trying it out (not recommended: will lose keys in 7 days)", "Cool kid, (recommended: add to home screen and keep keys longer than 7 days"
3. If they chose the recommended option, than show them how to add it to home screen:
   "press: the share button"
   'scroll over to "add to home screen"'
   'than open the app on your home screen'
4. In the first option, once they have used it for a while, bug them with a notification and red dot top right corner, it will remind them to add this to the home screen to preserve the keys
5. Remind them once they get any amount of substantial funds, to add to the homescreen to save keys, funds
6. Remind them if they haven't visited the app in a while but came back again
7. Maybe get an email / contact somehow and remind them that way "like a keep up to date, add your email sort of thing"
