Apollo Unified S-Band TV Viewer

SUPPORTS

Both mono and colour Apollo video standards.
Decode from file or in real time with an rtlsdr receiver.

The file format is expected to be int16_t IQ samples
representing an FM modulated signal.

Audio is not yet supported.

Press F key to toggle fullscreen.

For best results in colour mode, use a sample rate with a
multiple of 2250000 Hz. For the rtlsdr, this is the best
sample rate to use.

REQUIREMENTS

* For Fedora
yum install rtl-sdr-devel SDL2-devel

EXAMPLE

For the field-sequential colour mode:

TX: $ hacktv -f 855250000 -g 47 -m apollo-fsc-fm -s 2250000 --deviation 125000 --noaudio test
RX: $ apollo-tv -d rtlsdr -f 855250000 -m colour --deviation 125000

For the 10fps mono mode:

TX: $ hacktv -f 855250000 -g 47 -m apollo-fm -s 2250000 --deviation 125000 --noaudio test
RX: $ apollo-tv -d rtlsdr -f 855250000 -m mono --deviation 125000
