Idea taken from Wolfgang Wagners Twitch stream.

I use pluploadfe and mailfiles and would like to send a mail to all FE users after the upload.
Would be a nice feature.

Update extension for TYPO3 CMS 12 LTS.

Release is planned for end of this summer. Hopefully. Any help is appreciated!

I get this error, when using mailfiles in TYPO3 8.7LTS. Pluploadfe works fine, the file is added to the Backend, but no mail is sent. "mailFrom" and "mailTo " in plugin.tx_mailfiles_pi1.settings is set to real values.
Any Idea?

It would be cool if you had the option to enter any e-mail address as a recipient in the frontend.
This feature could perhaps be switched on/off.
Then the extension could be a real alternative to tools like WeTransfer or similar.
