Remmina: The GTK+ Remote Desktop Client

Remmina is a remote desktop client written in GTK+, aiming to be useful for
system administrators and travellers, who need to work with lots of remote
computers in front of either large monitors or tiny netbooks. Remmina supports
multiple network protocols in an integrated and consistant user interface.
Currently RDP, VNC, NX, XDMCP and SSH are supported.

Remmina is released in separated source packages:
* "remmina", the main GTK+ application
* "remmina-plugins", a set of plugins

Remmina is free and open-source software, released under GNU GPL license.

Prerequisites
-------------

On Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric), install the following packages before compiling:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chihchun/freerdp # for freerdp v1
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cmake intltool \
  libgtk-3-dev libssh-dev libavahi-ui-gtk3-dev libvte-dev \
  libunique-dev libtelepathy-glib-dev libgnome-keyring-dev \
  libappindicator3-dev libgcrypt11-dev libgnutls-dev \
  libfreerdp-dev libjpeg-dev

Compilation
-----------

To compile and install, perform the following for all of the three main packages:

mkdir build
cmake --build=build .
make
sudo make install
