Usage

How to use my plugin.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'artery'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install artery

Then install migrations and run (if using ActiveRecord):

$ rake artery:install:migrations
$ rake db:migrate

artery's Issues

Handle simultaneous start of several workers with synchronization

If several workers starts at the same time and synchronize models — this will be done multiply. Only one of worker shoud make syncronization.

Synchronization of big data

We need support batched synchronization in case we need synchronize plenty of objects.

Implement syncronous request using native support of ruby-nats

It was implemented in ruby-nats 0.9.0: nats-io/nats.rb#149

Problem with nested requests in synchronous mode

This code causes problems:

Artery.request 'foo' do |on|
  on.success do |f_data|
    Artery.request 'bar' do |at|
      at.success do |b_data|
        puts b_data.inspect
      end
    end
  end
end

Before/after action callbacks for subscriptions

Several subscriptions for one uri from different models

Now it's only possible to have one subscription from one model for one uri. But we need to make several subscriptions from different models for same uri.
