Custom classes and functions to speed things up.

Why?

When I find myself needing to do a task repeatedly (typically in the scale of tens of times), I write custom functions to streamline the process.

But sometimes even custom functions aren't enough, and they are rewritten into custom classes.

BMI Calculator

A custom Python class which computes and displays health advice based on the user's BMI.

Metric and imperial units supported.

Coordinate System Conversions

Python functions that convert NumPy arrays of Cartesian coordinates to and from NumPy arrays of spherical coordinates.

DNA Complement

A Python function that generates the complementary DNA sequence in upper case.

Stress-Strain Curves

A custom Python class that takes in .csv files of strains and stresses to plot the engineering and true stress-strain curves on the same axes.

Temperature Converter (WIP)

A custom Python class that converts from one temperature scale to another.

Available temperature scales are Celsius, Kelvin, Fahrenheit, Rankine, Delisle, Newton, Reaumur and Romer.
