It is a fork of Micah Lee's https://fixubuntu.com/; prior to Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu's default behavior was very similar to Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

All Mac OS X changes were authored and Copyright (c) 2014 by Landon Fuller.

Developing

• Install Node.js
• Install Grunt: npm install -g grunt-cli
• Install the Node.js dependencies: cd fixosx && npm install
• Run grunt build to build the static site, grunt to build and watch for changes (http://localhost:8001/)

Uninstall or Disable

Hi, Love the project, but I think it would be great to describe a process to uninstall or disable the middleware. If you could describe in further detail what the new certs are doing as well that would be great.
The issue I'm having is that chrome is logging every site as an untrusted source now, I'm guessing because the script recreates the ssl signing certs.

Don't say that Ubuntu 14.10 ends the issues with Ubuntu

From all I can tell, Unity 8 is what ends the issues for Ubuntu, and that isn't planned to be default until 16.04, and that's not a guarantee.

How to uninstall?

I've got this running on my mac os, now few things stopped working:

• certificates (When downloading gems, npm packages, boot2docker images..)
• localhost (when starting servers locally)
