AATT or, Admin ALL THE THINGS! Is a free and open-source AutHotKey based program written to leverage PSTools in a GUI oriented manner. This allows for quick administrative and arbitrary tasks to be deployed and run on remote computers.

This program was originally written to assist with the XP to Windows 7 refresh of a former client of mine, and has been cleaned and generalized to work with any network.

Program is currently in PRE-ALPHA RELEASE

Wishlist:

• Powershell interoperability
• Local admin capability (need to put a switch somewhere)
• Better password encryption and a way to protect secrets at rest!
• A better solution than PSTools which sends passwords in plain text

admin-all-the-things's Issues

Adding a computer reloads the list view

When adding a new computer view the interface, the entire list view is reloaded fresh.

The side effect of this causes any machine that has not been responding (i.e. in the dead pile) to get a new "last seen" time, which may throw off calculations and such... if you were banking on a machine being dead for X amount of time for whatever reason...

Don't plan on fixing it for now, but going to note it just in case I feel like fixing it in the future.

Empty CompList.txt produces strange results

If you have a CompList.txt file with one computer, and END, then adding and removing works fine.

If you have a CompList.txt where just an END exists, then strange results happen... when you add a computer, you get an empty line, and when you try to remove the empty line, it removes things it's not supposed to.

I assume this has something to do with the way the computers are added to the bottom of the list with a linefeed as part of what's being added... Will need to look into this later.
