Arduino does not seem to support .
Thus, I can not use smart pointers and am stuck with running propper destructors and memory management.

I might want to find a way to get this into the code base, even if it means ripping appart the C++ standard and just taking their impmenentation.

the speed variable should only be positive in the current setup.

However, it may make sense to refactor and present a variable number between +-255 as input and set the direction automatically. This removes a function as well as an enum. It may then be usefull to add another function that pulls the break.

It would be a lot more natural to use arduino constants
HIGH and LOW
to represent the states. This way I can directly write them onto the pins. Have to change type to int and maybe create an enum.
