React Native Payments is alive again!

Hey there,

Nabil here. I've joined as a maintainer on the original react-native-payments repo.

Just wanted to let you know that we've brought it back to life after 2 years, merged in the all the bug fixes and made it compatible with RN 0.61+ and autolinking.

This is all rolled out in a 0.8.0 release on npm which should more or less match the bug fixes in your fork here.

Could you give it a try? It would be great to have you back on the main repo and we could work on it together.

How to update Apple Pay to version 5

I re-up the issue from react-native-payments because I see this repo is activated.

Hi all,

In our app, we will support the payment network "mada" which has been supported by Apple Pay since version 5 (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple_pay_on_the_web/applepaypaymentrequest/1916122-supportednetworks).

I'm not sure which version of Apple Pay react-native-payments is supporting, but it's not 5. The app crashes when I added "mada" as a supported network.

Does anyone know how to update the Apple Pay SDK in react-native-payments?
