Thanks for an awesome package! Just wondering if you could add pmode and intervals to the precipitation params. I am a pretty novice R coder, otherwise I would offer a fix, but my hack to make it work was questionable at best. Thank you!

From what I can tell, Synoptic changed their API for Mesowest and now I consistently get "Error in open.connection(con, "rb") : HTTP error 403" when using the mesowest package.

Thanks for writing up this package. It's been a useful wrapper for the Mesowest API.

I notice that the function mw() is dependent on the mwparams data from the getparams() function. As is, you cannot use the mw() call without loading the package. So

mesowest::mw(service="metadata", complete=1, state="AK")

throws up the warning "In data(mwparams) : data set 'mwparams' not found" (same with other mw() calls).

The mwparams data seem to be fairly static, so maybe add those data to the namespace?

Using a clean install of R 3.4.3 and rjson 0.2.15, I'm getting an error "Error in fromJSON(U) : unexpected character 'h'" using the requestToken() function.
