metaforgui's Issues

Show all data files

After installing, loading, and starting the GUI, I tried:

### load BCG vaccine data
dat <- get(data(dat.bcg))

### calculate log relative risks and corresponding sampling variances
dat <- escalc(measure="RR", ai=tpos, bi=tneg, ci=cpos, di=cneg, data=dat.bcg)

I see dat.bcg in the object browser, but dat doesn't show up (even when Filter by is set to all). This seems to be due to dat having classes c("escalc", "data.frame"). If I do class(dat) <- "data.frame", it does show up. Since users may want to use datasets created with escalc(), it may be nice to also show those objects under data sets. And they should definitely show up when when Filter by is set to all.

Use tcltk?

install.packages("gWidgetstcltk")
library(gWidgetstcltk)
## change code in funtion-->   options(guiToolkit = "tcltk")
## works with considerably less installation hassle, but widgets are less polished

Output code not showing external variables

Output code is showing internal function variable names, but should use the external variable names so that copying-pasting it into R in the same session would work. Get variable names from gwidgets svalues (e.g., "dataset$d").
