zoom-mgr's Issues

Does not work properly

Update just removes and does not re-install, and so does install it seems.

Haven't taken a look at the script closely, will do so a bit later, but it might be a flag thing.

Turn Zoom Manager into Proper CLI?

Right now Zoom Manager is a loosely put together Bash script. Is there a time, if ever, that this should be swapped out for a proper binary CLI?

add support for Tessa

Thanks for the very convenient tool!

Could you please add Tessa to the list of supported OS?
It works on my Linux Mint 19.1.

Cheers,
Andrej

Need to download an old version of zoom: version 4.6.9

Hi Feliciano!

I've been happily using zoom-mgr to keep up with the latest version of zoom.

But, today I was running a zoom lecture, recording it -- and lost power. A .zoom file was left (not an .mp4). I tried the methods suggested by the official zoom site -- they didn't work.

The last version of zoom that let you convert a .zoom file by double clicking on it was 4.6.9. So I'd like to download this old version of zoom.

I thought that hopefully you can help me with this.

Thanks in advance,

-- Saul

zoom-mgr.sh now doesn't upgrade itself

Hi Ricardo!

zoom-mgr.sh update
now is correctly updating zoom, when an update is needed, and correctly doesn't update zoom when the newest version is already there.

But still one very minor problem: zoom-mgr.sh update doesn't appear to be updating zoom-mgr.sh itself: running zoom-mgr.sh update, we are told that version v0.10.0 is available; but after running the script, the zoom-mgr.sh is version 0.9.1.

Install on 21.04 Fails

I just tried installing this on a fresh Ubuntu 21.04 laptop install and it failed. I need to figure out what happened.

Add a proper update command

There is an update sub-command for updating Zoom, which is the whole point of this software. There needs to be an easy way to update Zoom Manager itself.
