I noticed the left-hand TOC entry for Exercise Set C is currently only visible from 00.index and 04.basic_analysis (and from itself, 04.exercises) - nothing breaking, just looks a bit funny. I don't have that much experience with building webpages, but I'm assuming it's something to do with the TOC only being updated for those pages which have been modified each time the site is built - see this StackOverflow question. Anyway, very very minor style bug - feel free to disregard, just thought I'd mention it.

In the Maximum theorem under convexity, in the second scenario, 'the concavity of the function f(x, theta) with respect to x for each value of theta ...', it appears that the condition specifying the admissible set to be convex-valued has been omitted.

For the last part of answer of Question C.1, It shouldn't be x(k)-e/4-(y(k)+e/4 = x(k)-y(k)-e/2 rather then x(k)-e/4-(y(k)+e/4 > x(k)-y(k)-e/2? sorry if it is my mistake.

This part should be that the bordered Hessian is positive definite hence the critical point is a local min.
