I need help about fullscreen autoplay video

Hi everyone,
We have a html page that include fullscreen autoplay video in hpub file.
It is play automatically succesfully when page appear in Samsung Galaxy S3 (Android Version 4.1.2) , but dont play in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ( Android Version 4.0.3) tablet.

Android Version 4.0.3 Webview is not support autoplay video?

What is the difference this devices,How can i solve this problem. @fcontreras

Archive button

I am testing the last master from Oct 04 and I found that the "Archive" button are not working as expected. Actually it doesn't delete the files and returns the "Download" button.

Plans for analytics feature?

Just wondering if there is an embedded GA analytics feature like baker yet?

Index loading in full screen

I found a new issue in the latest master. It's about the Index.
When a double tap the screen, the index loads and shows in the bottom of the screen, respecting the width and height of the index.html file.
Then a double tap again to hide the index. till here, it work as expected.
But when I double tap again, the index opens in full screen. It respect the width, but doesn't respect the height anymore.
I tested using the default book A Study in the Scarlet and my own book and the behavior is the same.

I think the Index could open in full screen in some cases / needs, so if you could let this as flexible setting or just respect media queries and width / height present on the index.html file. It will be a good solution. I saw a similar issue in the Baker project discussing this feature (Issue #637 and Pull Request #1088).

Width of Thumbnails

Hello, I just want to inquire how do I configure the width of the thumbnail showing in the main screen? Can point me to the right file maybe. Tried searching the whole project for "width" found a couple of places where i see the word but I couldn't get it..

Download after the Archive

In the #3 you fix the Archive function, and it works on the emulator and tablet. But in the tablet, when I archive a publication and click to Download the same publication, the app crashes.

German "Umlaut"

I just checked out your first alpha with the Android Studio. Thanks to your Wiki - it was set up within less than 5 minutes! 👍

For my first test I linked an existing shelf.json (UTF-8 encoded) from a Baker project. There were some encoding problems with german "umlauts". Characters like ä, ö, ü are not displayed properly -> see file attached.

The "broken" word should be: "Doppelhäuser".

Btw.: should the navigation inside the magazine already work? A double tap opens a blue bar sliding up right now.

Shelf: Changing the Background color or Loading an Image

How can I change the background color of the shelf?

In this master, is it possible to load an image on the background?

Show all books in the shelf when in portrait mode

I'm using a 7" tablet to test the code and in portrait mode it doesn't show all books present in the shelf.json.

When I turn to landscape, it shows all books.

I tested using the default shelf.json and in portrait mode it only shows 1 book. In landscape it shows 2 books.

Help setting up GindPubs

Hello,

I'm trying to use GindPubs with my Baker magazine and I'm having some troubles setting up.

I've followed up and Android Studio keeps displaying the same error:
"Error running Teste: Gradle project sync failed. Please fix your project and try again."

Does anyone knows how to fix it?

Countly integration

Do anyone have success to integrate Countly in the gindpubs-framework?
Countly provide an android SDK for that, but I'm still not tried to do.

I integrate in Baker using the iOS SDK and the Andrew (baker framework) procedure. It works very well.

How to edit header background? index horizontal is taking up whole page?

And I noticed double tapping brings up the index but the index is taking up a whole page.

Sorting based on published date.

I noticed the shelf is sorting based on upload date. Is there any way to use the published date instead like baker.

Paid issues and subscriptions

I have a magazine published with baker framework on the ios newsstand. I would like also publish the magazine on Android devices. I download and run the code but i not being very good with android programming. So the question is:
Does it work with paid issues and subscriptions?

How to change the app_id

Hey! How are you doing?

I would like to change the app_id from: com.ginien.gindpubs to com.mydomain.myappname

I try to change in the string.xml, but in the debug logcat it still show com.giniem.gindpubs

The issue: if I have 2 apps with the same app_id, when I'll install the 2nd app it will install over the 1st.
Hope you understand this issue.

I try to run the Refactor in the Android Studio but it crashed the code.

Push Notifications

Hello

I would like to know how should I implement the GCM server. I went to https://github.com/fcontreras/gindpubs-frameworks/wiki/Send-notifications-to-clients and I don't understand this part "Implement the GCM server".
Normally with baker I used Parse as server, and I simply sent a json string to the app when a new content is available. Should I implement Parse for this part as well?
