I forked Noam Ross's repository and tried to make a Hugo theme from it. The theme is at https://github.com/fboehm/noamross.

When serving site with blogdown::serve_site(), how do I add arguments to call to hugo? Maybe write my own function that modifies serve_site()? I would like to add enableGitInfo option to Hugo calls.

This is the repository for my personal website, https://www.noamross.net.

• The site is generated using the Hugo static site generator, with the R package blogdown generating R Markdown posts.
• The Kube framework by Imperavi provides basic layout and user-interaction.
• Design inspiration is taken from Greg Restall's consequently.org and the lovely but defunct Gentle Reader.
• Some design elements are inspired by Edward Tufte's handout designs, as implemented in the tufte-css framework.
• The site uses the fonts Alegreya by Huerta Tipográfica. and IM Fell English, extracted from John Fell's historic types by Igino Marini. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. Icons are provided by Font Awesome.
• My CV is generated from data on ORCiD using the rorcid package.
• The site is hosted at nearlyfreespeech.net and deployed using Circle CI. Assets are delivered via the jsDeliver CDN.

Delete spaces in cv template file for "service" section

Specifically, I need the dates to be surrounded by only parentheses. Currently, they are surrounded by spaces and parentheses, which messes up the final appearance (online).

Fix blog snippets on home page

Right now, I can't see the blog snippets. Maybe check that forward slashes are where they should be in the html file???

fix title of Blog html page

I have only one blog, so the title of this html page needs to be "Blog" not the current "Blogs".

I'm not even sure which file contains the word "Blogs". I'll have to use grep to find the line and then edit the problematic file.

It looks like the "Service" component is misaligned.

I need to add the 2016 article and 2018 book chapter to my site.

Also, add book chapters and edited book.

Service CV section needs ordering

Need to chronologically order (by start date?) Service section of vitae.

Want to display a range of dates for teaching activities

Right now, i give the exact date - for a single day - for each course. Need to reformat this to reflect a semester, for example, or a two-day workshop.

The idea is to document that I received the specified awards.

I also should add the UW L&S scholarships that I won in 99 & 00. I might look at the L&S scholarships list to remind myself of their names.

Right now, there is a partial horizontal bar that moves when you click on the arrow for the software package qtl2pleio. How to fix this???
