Introduction

• Video Conferencing Web Application made using React Native and WebRTC.
• Build commenced using Agile Methodology.

Features

• Allows the user to create a Room, share the URL with another user and enables peer to peer connection. As of now, only two people can join the same room and video chat.
• Users can mute/unmute themselves
• Users can turn their video on/off
• User can leave the call which will bring him back to the homepage.

To run the application on your computer-

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/fatmab2809/video-conference-app

In the project directory,

2. Install the dependencies

npm i

3. Run the server on port 800

node server.js

4. On another terminal window, open the client side folder

cd client

To Run the app in the development mode

npm start

Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
