The Options Web Application(OWA) is a basic CRUD web application for tracking information within the Options Community Service Society. Many similar applications are developed every day to support the needs of companies’ increasing amount of data and migration from paper-based to computer-based systems. The deployment of OWA will bring such benefits to the Options Community Service Society.

owa's Issues

cannot see full title bar when browser screen not maximized

eventlog error when navigating to 'event records'

undefined method `fname' for nil:NilClass

when populating eventlogs or referrallogs populate script generates null pointer exception due to the relationships those entities have with facilities and visitors etc...

FIRST 'approve' action in facility causes bulk approve of all entries, subsequent 'approve' actions do not

when staff tries to access User page it just redirects to dashboard without any message. message should be provided.

changing user password produces error below:

error when deleting facility not belonging to eventlog:

visitor csv export isnt formatted properly. not comma delimited

new event isnt showing up in eventlog. trying to approve said event produces following error:

NoMethodError in EventsController#approve

inconsistencies between temp and main database

this issue is messed. only andy knows about it

filter for all unapproved/approved records

creating an event only shows name, not the date. date is important to distinguish between daily events

exporting event log to csv and excel is empty

no option to 'unapprove' an entry once it has been 'approved'

event record duplicates should not be allowed, but currently are

after creating new visitor unauthorized access message appears at top of page

it does not affect creation of visitor in any way.

this is a security risk and opens up the application to significantly more vulnerabilities. enabling a visitor to signup without at least being logged in as a guest account allows sql injection attacks and spam
