Thank you for this great app,

In the previous version I was able to click the icon to launch gmail, now it checks for emails on click, which is useful but there is no way to read the whole email without manually opening a browser and going to gmail.

Could you give instructions on how to clean uninstall this applet?
It is not working even after setting usernames and passwords and it keeps
showing me the authentication failed message.

I'm not sure if this is a mistake or by design, but the mail icon is dark when there is a new message, and lit up when there are no messages. I believe this should be the other way around to suit other cinnamon icon styles. Example, when Bluetooth is off, the icon is dark, when the Volume is mute, the icon is dark, where there is no internet connection, the Network icon is dark.
To follow these styles, I believe the mail icon should be dark when there is NO mail, and lit up when there is a new mail.
