Manually enter hours when creating an event

I can't update profile data

I get "twitter is invalid" error when trying to update profile data. I've set it couple days ago and everything was fine but now I can't update other profile data.

Ability to create event with no or many groups participating

There should be a possibility to create events without having groups and events that are organised by 2 or more groups

Talk Submission QA

I'm submitting a talk to see what it'll be like for people submitting a talk to Abstractions

Flow for completing bio before submitting a proposal is a little off-putting

• "Tags" field has HTML showing in its placeholder
• Dislike "Tags" being required as the list is incomplete
• Dislike Tagline being required because it's not always necessary
• Dislike website being required - not everyone will have this
• Dislike twitter being required - not everyone will have this
• "Avatar" seems skewed toward a software-only crowd. My community/leadership submitters may be less confused by "Profile Picture"
• IMPORTANT Can't finish saving because "Tags" field can't be blank but doesn't persist

To add talk to event:

• add talk to user's pool
• add talk from user's pool to event

Transform the rest of assets in PNG into SVG

In "hero" section on homepages iPNG bitmaps are used for graphics (organiser, speaker, attendee) but the rest is in SVG vectors. The same case is default "person" in member list which is in PNG.

It would nice to unite everything into SVG only due to various HiDPI displays.

Twitter name considered to be invalid

My twitter name Andre_van_Delft is not accepted as valid in my profile.

cancel a ticket by admin

Admin should be able to cancel a ticket bought by user or change number of bought ticket by user.

It's unclear how to get to this GH issue tracker from the Eventil website.

Organization signup/QA

Making sure I'm a useful beta user. Here's what I've found during the signup process.

On https://eventil.com/organizations/new

• No field for state - this is expected by US orgs. Put mine in "city" field
• "Desc" field label is ambiguous
• "Desc" field has placeholder that looks to be meant for an individual

On https://eventil.com/organizations/{id no}

• "Connect Stripe" link leads to page with only {"error":{"message":"No application matches the supplied client identifier"}}

Where do I find submissions?

Just submitted a test submission to my own event. Not sure where to look to review it.

Several UI glitches on Firefox 46

I've noticed several glitches on Firefox 46. See these screenshots:

Profile photos are blurred

(maybe they should be smaller?)

Hide unfilled sections in a profile

This looks weird when an user doesn't have some filled section in a profile. See:

Users should be able to subscribe or simply track events to get notified once videos or slides are available for each talk.

Clone previous event

It should be possible for event organiser to clone one of previous events to avoid putting in repeating data e.g. title, desc etc

Event has video embedded from YouTube or Vimeo

Event organiser should have a possibility to add a YouTube/Vimeo video to the event as embedded player.
There should be a visual clue on event list for events that have videos added.

Random QA

• The event shows a map of the event, but the map is centered where I created the event in Eventil, not where the event address is https://eventil.com/events/abstractions
• "Become great speaker with Eventil" missing "a" in that sentence (on https://eventil.com/events)

Using without a Github account

It'd be nice to have an alternative to Github authentication on the auth page - even if it is a link to a Google form in the interim. I'm worried about potentially eliminating submissions from beginners or people not working as software engineers. Finding about this on the authentication page will probably be too late in the process and cause the person to be confused and leave.

Easiest solution I see is to make the current "Submit Talk" on events/event-name say "Submit a Talk with GitHub" and a second button that is the alternate process.

Don't use uppercased titles in "source" text

There are some titles (i.e. Eventil for organizers) being uppercased in "source" text. But it's much better to leave it on CSS styles like text-transform: uppercase.

Eventil does not know about 'Nim' as a programming language

Please add it otherwise I am not even sure I can continue with the registration process.
