selinux_permissive's Introduction

SELinux Permissive

This module switches SELinux to permissive mode during boot process.

This module intentionally lowers security settings of your phone. Please, don't use it if you don't know what you are doing.

The module will not work if your kernel compiled with always enforcing config, e.g., stock samsung kernels.

How to install:

Stable release:

  1. Dowload latest selinux_permissive.zip from releases page https://github.com/evdenis/selinux_permissive/releases

  2. cd selinux_permissive
  3. make install

method to undo permissive script?

I installed this selinux mod using Magisk, but after installing it no longer shows in Magisk, so how do I disable/undo/uninstall the selinux script? I installed an Selinux checker and it says my device is on permissive, so the script must have installed, but I want to remove it. Is there an undo script, or can I manually delete the script in my root file system? I have glanced through the code, and I find the location of the script a bit elusive. THX

Install bug

When I try to install version 2.0 it still states in Magisk it's version 1. Any ideas?
