awesome-ggplot2's Issues

More awesome packages

Thanks for this repository. I was planning to create one but thankfully I searched before. Few packages that are useful (and seem popular) but do not currently exist in the list:

ggblanket description

Hi, could you please update the ggblanket description to "Simplify ggplot2 visualisation"

Thanks!

ggpmisc

I appreciate you listed my packages 'ggpp' and 'ggspectra'.

I created package 'ggpp' by spliting the code of some geometries and position functions out of package 'ggpmisc'. Package 'ggpmisc' still imports and reexports the whole of 'ggpp'. Package 'ggpmisc' is my most popular package, so I hope it could be added to the list, either in addition to 'ggpp' or instead of it. ('ggpmisc' has already 10 reverse dependencies.)

I have one more extenssion to 'ggplot2' in CRAN: 'gginnards'. This is more of a "niche" thing, and I am not sure whether it fits within the intended scope of this this.

Geometries and statistics

Thanks for this useful resource!

I suggest renaming the section "Geometries" into "Geometries and Statistics" or alternatively into "Plot layers".

Add all ggplot2 authors in "Persons" section?

Hi,

First of all, this is a great resource! Thanks so much for pulling it together.

It might be the case that the Persons (+ Twitter) section is meant to reflect people who are on twitter, and very knowledgeable about ggplot2, but I thought it might be worth including the authors and maintainers of the package as well (listed here).

I don't know Kohske Takahashi's Twitter handle, but as for the authors others who aren't on the list:

As of the next release, Dewey Dunnington will also be listed as an author (already listed on the ggplot2 dev-version site)! His twitter handle is @paleolimbot.

I'd be happy to submit a PR, if you'd like!

Remove simplevis

Hi, could you please remove reference to {simplevis}, as I am trying to get everyone to move to an updated package I created called {ggblanket} which does the same thing but better. I'm the maintainer of both. Thanks!
