Use the gm command to interact with GraphicsMagick directly, so we can drop the dependency of graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat pacakge.

Being lightweight, ConnMan has its own problems. The WiFi issue remains unresolved and its DNS proxy can go AWOL (due to bad file descriptor) from time to time.

Probably it is time to switch back to NetworkManager. It has a proper GUI frontend at least.

Barista is an i3status alternative implemented in Go, with a good number of ready-to-use modules.

This should solve multiplexing issues with ALSA (or use Dmix?). It also has fancy features like streaming audio over network.

pavucontrol is a good GUI mixer for PulseAudio.

Possibly with maim and slop.

It might be a good idea to make Xfce the base of this project. We use many components of Xfce already, so it should be painless to do so. In addtion, Xfce comes with NetworkManager as well (see #4).
