codechallenge's Issues

Error in example given

In (Basic JavaScript: Store Multiple Values in one Variable using JavaScript Arrays)

Example given is
var sandwich = ["peanut butter", "jelly", "bread"].

Whereas solution to challenge is
var sandwich = ["peanut butter", "jelly", "23"];

Shouldn't a semicolon end the variable in the example and not a fullstop?

test unchecked

myStr should not contain any spaces
myStr should contain the strings FirstLine, SecondLine and ThirdLine (remember case sensitivity)
FirstLine should be followed by the newline character \n
SecondLine should be preceded by the backslash character
There should be a newline character between SecondLine and ThirdLine
myStr should only contain characters shown in the instructions

Cannot submit code as well

Given myVar = 12 - 6; // assigned 6

My answer

var difference = 45 - 3; difference = 12;

Error
make the variable difference = 12

Alternative approach

I saw your solution when I was looking for an efficient way to do this operation - but later came up with an alternative approach:
This is much faster.

var countBits = function(n) {
var count = 0;
while (n != 0)
{
n = n & (n-1);
count++;
}
return count;;
}

I thought I would share since it might be useful to you.
