This was attempted before, however proved to be a bit unstable due to improper implementation. The current, fixed behavior where the canvas zooms from the top left corner works good enough for now, however later down the road mouse-location based zooming should be re-attempted.

Zooming is currently very unstable. The canvas will jump around the screen when zooming in/out. The issue lies within a faulty temporary equation in Canvas.hx, in the onMouseScroll function which sets the canvas' coordinates relative to the cursor.

Currently, the main development system for Editor is a machine running macOS 10.14. This system does not appear to support OpenFL's PrintJob API, which begs the question: Do other modern operating systems even have support for PrintJob?

(Printing the canvas is currently done via an undocumented Print action, accessed via CTRL+P/CMD+P.)

On a 2017 MacBook Pro, the trackpad will cause Editor to act in a strange manner, seemingly misinterpreting mouse clicks/holds inside the center of the application even if the mouse is not being clicked or held down. This has yet to be tested with standalone trackpads by Apple such as the Magic Trackpad or any other trackpads from other MacBook models.
The Magic Mouse 2, a similar product, is unaffected, and we can reasonably assume that the original model is unaffected as well.
