I've read somewhere in the comments @ephtracy stated that the animation feature needs some redesigns. Also, as stated in the changelog here: Animation : no frame-based animation.
If you're still using the feature, I suggest sticking to the older versions for now.

Cool, thanks for the response, I appreciate it!
Do you know if there are any other places aside from the build notes where the creator of the tool discusses the future for the tool? I'm considering creating a video tutorial series on how to use it and am interested to know what the future holds for it... but not having much luck connecting.
