On macOS the nodeos application automatically installs a config.ini at ~/Library/Application\ Support/eosio/nodeos/config if a config directory is not provided.

If there is a pre-existing configuration from a previous nodeos run this will conflict with the boot or validation process.

while running the code ./validate_chain_at_block.sh --block id
it shows the following error
