I'm not sure why you're hand-crafting CSW requests when https://geopython.github.io/OWSLib/ exists. OWSLib is even maintained by someone in ECCC (Tom Kralidis).

I'm trying to get RCM imagery, so I've taken the eodms-ogc-rcm-test.py sample code and configured my request AOI and user account info, but I'm getting an error response:

Did not receive a 200(OK) status from Dataset Filters Servlet: http://localhost:8080/wes/DatasetFilters

Is this a temporary system issue, or is there something wrong in the code?

Seems to be a discrepancy between the HTTP response in the end-to-end order example and the one that is currently being delivered from the CSW GetRecords response. There are two differences that I can see:

record_tag = '{http://www.opengis.net/cat/csw/2.0.2}Record'
for child in root.iter('*'):
    if child.find(record_tag):
        rec_element = child.find(record_tag)
        break

does not find a 'Record' tag but rather only a 'SummaryRecord' from the response. There is also no <dct:references> tag to parse the URL for the collection id.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!
