facebook_messenger's Issues

Name in messenger

I installed this at the weekend and it's working really nicely but I didn't think ahead. I've got Home Assistant in our holiday place in Spain and have a temperature sensor in the freezer. I'm using this to send me a message if the temperature gets above -15 degrees. The problem is that I called my app in Facebook "Freezer Temp". Now I've added another function that sends me a notification if there is motion in the lounge. It's not a big problem but I'd like to change the name that appears in Messenger.

Can this be done? Or am I better off starting from scratch with a new app?

Can't send images

I'm not having any issues with sending text messages through the notify.messenger but I'm not able to get any pictures to send. I've tried duplicating your YAML in the readme but call service won't send without something in the message field.

Any ideas?

This won't send because there's no message

service: notify.messenger
data:
  target: Brian
  data:
    media: "https://www.decorapark.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/cropped-460562_7aa63590c39344a387c9c0d2e2415f5d.jpg"
    media_type: "image/jpeg"

Image attachment issue.

So I got it set up sending me notifications on facebook messenger. with attached images. It was working, but after a few days it stopped. I am still able to get text messages.

any idea what could be the issue?

This error originated from a custom integration.
