I'm running ember-cli (installed through npm) right now and init and server commands work as expected. What doesn't work on Windows yet?
I also have a question I don't know where to ask about it. How can one debug apps build with ember-cli? As you know broccoli will put all the code in eval as strings...

Broccoli does the eval stuff to quickly implant source maps. Which should make it easier to debug ?
The windows issues are more around brittle windows support in broccoli today.
( or so I have been told)

the cli itself does support windows (it would nice to somehow add that to CI though)
the build pipeline may have some issues, but lets track those issues @ https://github.com/joliss/broccoli/issues/39
