2021-NFL-Draft

Goal: Predict if teams will take an Offensive (OFF) or Defensive (DEF) player in the 1st round of the 2021 NFL Draft

Scraped and consolidated data from multiple websites to obtain draft order and teams’ last year’s stats

Created K-Nearest Neighbors model from scratch with an accuracy of 73% using the euclidean distance function - See Version 1/Final 1.2.ipynb

Made own predictions for exact draft order using positional trends from the past, numerical analysis on 1st Round QBs, and distribution of team salary cap by position
