EDMC is going to switch to Python 3.7 with its 3.5.0 release. No idea if this plugin is still maintained, but I’d like to be able to keep using it. I also kind of don’t wanna fork it and fix it myself ;)

Since last update EDMC cannot connect to auth servers,and without that D-presence wont work in discord,
Is there any fix?im not good with python so i couldnt figure it out...

This is probably what @Poneyy was talking about in #15 (comment)

There is no right way to see if player in cqc from game journals. But I can suggest a few indirect ways:

1. LoadGame event without Ship field happening on enter in cqc from main menu (can be used to detect enter in cqc)
2. Music event with "MusicTrack":"MainMenu" happening when exit from cqc to main menu (can be used to detect exit from cqc)

I would like to see in your plugin the ability to select the information that the user would like to display in their Discord status.

Example:
Star class
Planet type
Distance from the system that the user will enter in the plugin settings

It will be very cool, I will even be ready to support your work financially :3

Just installed the plug-in and using EDMC 5.1.3 (latest).

I've installed the plugin with EDMC but in Discord I only get something like CMDR Interface and it doesn't show my location. I don't see anything to configure what am I missing?

instructions say "Download the latest version of the plugin from here. Make sure to download the release .zip and not the source code bundle."

Need to use the latest Discord Game SDK library instead of the deprecated Discord RPC library

I've installed the plugin to edmc, and I've also restarted edmc but it doesn't seem to detect it. the only way i can get it to even acknowledge that it's in the plugins folder is if i disable it

this may be a weird question but i would like to know if there is possibly a easy/not to hard way to change the name of the "EDMC Discord Presence" in discord to something else more like, "Elite Dangerous", so that people can instantly see that i am playing it.
