To confirm this, I've replied with an empty comment as well (many whitespaces) - It worked

so before submitting, the string checked must be trimmed to remove whitespaces,
so " " will become ""

jquery has .trim for strings, and there is also https://github.com/epeli/underscore.string

I have left opened the notification panel that says I have some unread messages and I clicked on Submit comment (comment was empty) button on some student's homework and the notification covered the warning text. Here you have a picture of that. I suggest you to put the notification into the background of that dark thing or to show the warning as next notification.

Some people write this code:

in statements assignment. Improve the description of the assignment. It should notify users about necessity of spaces.

If you try to click on Fullscreen button in homework, the background is black. And fullscreen is somehow weird.

Add a job listing where students can apply for a job.

After submitting homework a green text bubble will appear in right upper corner which I didn't see for the first time. In my opinion it should be bigger and on more visible place. By fixing this you can avoid students submitting the same homework multiple times in a row.

Curriculum of study group is only visible for teacher. It should be visible for all.

When I write correct code and press submit, the code disappears from the code editor in prog. challenges. Green thick and correct result message appears, but the code disappears.

Implementation of sendersList is very bad. It's too slow. Find a better solution which does not need to iterate through all users.

Some people do not write code according to conventions. It should throw an error if the code is not according to conventions. Force people to write nice code!
