uTorrent Notifier

uTorrent Notifier is a .NET application that runs in the system tray and, well, notifies you of events ocurring remotely in uTorrent.

Supports notifications being sent by Growl, Prowl, Twitter and Boxcar.

Add pushingbox.com service

I'm hoping you can take a moment to add support for pushingbox.com to your uTorrent-Notifier. 
I know a few programming languages but in none of them would I say I am fluent, and C# is not 
counted among them. The inclusion of pushingbox.com support would allow my Karotz to vocalize 
and let me know the state of a uTorrent download. Moreover the pushingbox.com api is a 
straightforward (albeit abused) REST api where only a single HTTP POST call need be made to 
their severs. Pushingbox.com is also exceedingly well documented.

I would appreciate if you would consider integrating this service,

If this project is still alive, recent upgrades to utorrent caused it to stop working (crashes after opening).

uTorrent Notifier crashing

Earlier this morning, the program crashed repeatedly when it starts during bootup. Subsequently, it will start and appear to be up for a split second (icon appears in the taskbar) and the icon will disappear as soon as I move my mouse over it to access (right click / left click). If I do it fast enough, I can pull up the setting screen via right click. Immediately after that though, the program will crash and just disappear (without error message).

I subsequently uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't help. I also roll back to a system restore point a few days ago and that didn't help either. Any clue?

Is this similar to issue #7 ?

Also, where is the registry entry uTorrent Notifier stores its information? I think I want to clearn that up too if uninstall didn't take care of that.

Add @mentions to twitter notifications

Add the ability to @mention another Twitter user, therefore enabling email alerts.

Occasional NullReferenceException in FindDone

On occasion I get a NullReferenceException (Object reference not set to an instance of an object) in WebUIAPI.FindDone. When I debug I can see that this.current is null (so obviously the exception comes from when the foreach loop attempts to iterate the this.current items). I will continue to troubleshoot this as well and will let you know what I find, but wanted to mention it to you as well.

Login Error

Hi I install the Utorrent Notifier 0.5.0.1 with Utorrent 2.2.1 and everything is configured correctly and it does send the notifications through boxcar as I selected, But I keep getting a Login Error Popup : saying The remote server returned an error (400) Bad Request. I get it like all the time like a permanent popoup lol

Invalid URL for uTorrent Web UI crashes app

I just installed uTorrent Notifier, and while I was setting it up I accidentally entered an invalid port number (133789). The app crashed with a URIformatException saying that the port number was unparseable (max TCP port is 65535, so definitely my fault).
Problem is, whenever I restart the app, it reads that config from wherever it's stored and immediately crashes again, so I have no way of fixing things without figuring out wherever that data gets stored.

Repro steps:

1. Install uTorrent Notifier.
2. Set uTorrent Web UI to run on port 13378
3. Type http://localhost:133789 into uTorrent Notify settings dialog
4. Hit save
5. boom

Suggested changes:

1. The uninstall utility should remove any config. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it didn't change anything.
2. Validate data before saving to disk
3. Wipe config and reset to defaults if exceptions are encountered on load.
