I want to suggest an improvement in readme
Can readme include all the upcoming hackathons category wise , so that it can become a one stop resource to follow for visitors?

Whatever hackathon the visitor wants to register writes his name in the respective folder , in this way many participants will be able to find team members for them

I think, eventually there might be a massive accumulation of images inside this repo.
Could we all discuss ways to deal with this problem beforehand?

Some solutions, that seem to work on this:

• running ImgBot on the repo
• making a github action, that turns images into img-links, after leveraging either an image-dump service, or a dedicated cloud server for the images. (or something that turns those images into embedded images, that are stored by github seperately)

I will update the issue-message, Pr-Message, with new ones and added a footer message in Community.yml

The workflow community.yml is referencing action actions/checkout using references v1. However this reference is missing the commit a6747255bd19d7a757dbdda8c654a9f84db19839 which may contain fix to the some vulnerability.
The vulnerability fix that is missing by actions version could be related to:
(1) CVE fix
(2) upgrade of vulnerable dependency
(3) fix to secret leak and others.
Please consider to update the reference to the action.

there's no information on readme about participating. It is kind of a bad experience for people willing to apply.

@eddiejaoude Pls also include links of your old and new webinars that you usually took during Hackathons , it can be easy for many new developers to gain an insight ( this is a request from some of my friends who are new to hackathons and great fan of yours ofcourse)

I think we should all the hackathons irrespective whether they were a part of MLH or not!
