Make it a PWA

  • Add a service worker
  • store user settings (birthday, life expectancy) to local storage
  • Choose an icon
  • upgrade local storage to indexedDB

replace table w/ SVG

Tables are problematic:

  • layout is restricted
  • creates too many DOM elements
  • rendering is inconsistent among browsers

Replacing it w/ SVG will give us these benefits:

  • consistent look
  • readable labels
  • more customization: colored, interactive week cells
