Installation

Dependencies:

  • See Oto prerequisites. tl;dr: In macOS, y'all need Audio Toolbox framework, and; in Linux, ALSA library (libasound2-dev or alsa-lib-devel for RedHat-based distros) is required.
  • See Fyne's systray platform notes.

Go (v1.21+) compiler should be installed & configured.

Warning

The master branch contains the latest code changes and updates, which might not have undergone thorough testing and quality assurance - thus, you may encounter instability and unexpected behavior.

FAQ

Q: Why is the executable file so darn huge?
A: It is big because we have got over 30 OGG audio files packed in there.

Q: Why did you choose OGG instead of MP3?
A: Well, OGG's got that sweet sound quality, way better than a same-sized MP3 file. Therefore, I don't want your zen or focus to get wrecked by crappy audio. 🧘

[BUG] all audio files in the menu are missing

  • OS: ArchLinux: 6.7.3-arch1-2
  • WM: Openbox 3.6.1
  • Tray: snixembed 0.3.3-1
  • alsa-lib 1.2.11-1

All audio files in the menu are missing
I built a binary version using make build, launched it and there is nothing

Checkbox remains checked for enabled sounds when pressing the Reset button

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the program, enable 1 or more sounds.
  2. Press the Reset button.

Expected Result

Checkboxes for all sounds should be unchecked.

Actual Result

Sounds stop, but checkboxes remain checked for all sounds.

Environment

Linux x64, Arch-based distro, KDE Plasma 6.0.2, Wayland

[Feature request] Flathub Flatpak release?

Would be nice to have it there, I think. More convenient updates and management.

I'd ask for a native distro repo release, but there are too many of those to manage.
