I'm Pro user.

If I use "Archive Posts" widget and select "Classic" skin, then in "Style" tab I can set a vertical and horizontal padding, as you can see here:

But if select "Custom" skin and select one created by me with your plugin, then in "Style" tab there are no options to set paddings, they are missing and I can't set the padding:

I know I could set a margin in each loop item, but it's not the same, I want a real grid padding.

If I use "Posts" widget instead of "Archive Posts" option is not missing, but I need to use "Archive Posts" widget.

Is this a bug? How can I solve it?

You say to create Posts in the Elementor Library. Sorry but I don't know what the Elementor Library is. What is it?

Thanks for quick fix on the previous issue, I can now see the posts per page option but changing the value doesn't seem to affect anything. This is only for the archive posts widget, the regular posts widget works fine.

After creating a loop template and applying the custom skin/template to the archives, everything works as it should when searching except when there are no results. No message appears despite Elementor's Advanced > No Message Found area having content. If I change the skin to cards or classic, the message will appear.

Can you boost this plugin by adding filtring design ability ?

I mean if I create a posts grid for many categories , posts types with many meta values

Need to filter posts according to

• CPT
• Terms
• Meta values that displayed as
  • Check boxes
  • Sliding bar
  • Dropdown

Can PODS custom fields from a CPT be used with the {{ }} in a ele-custom-skin loop template?
I can't seem to get it working and couldn't confirm from your doc if that was possible or if it just for use in eletheme.

Thanks for the nice plugin. Is it possible to maken all the items the same height, regardless the size of the content? I already set the height to stretch, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

Let's say I have 2 loops:

Loop 1 (English) & Loop 1 (Portuguese) - Translated using Polylang.

In the attached image, this is a "translated" loop - Loop 1 (Portuguese). (using Polylang) in green is the dynamic content. (Content that was previously translated with Polylang in the WP Backend)

In red, is content that I manually added to the loop. (Loop 1 (Portuguese))

On the front end the english version displays without any problems. But the Portuguese version also pulls through the english version. You can have a look at the attachments

I am experiencing flickers or flash of unstyled content when using the Eleskin. I am using it to create a top blog post in an archive in one design and then another design for the remaining blog posts below.

They both load simultaneously causing these flickers.

Is there a way to control this with Eleskin. I tried loading the tempaltes CSS early with an action in the functions.php, but then the posts image disappears.

I wasn't able to select my Template Loop in the Edit Posts -> Content -> Layout in Safari on Mac. It was visible in the PopUp, but it would never insert it into the "Select a template" field.

I had to use Google Chrome to get it to work. Once it was saved in Chrome, Safari had the field populated.

I am working on a music instrument-page. The image, title, text and url of the button gets fetched dynamically. I use PODS and Ele Custom Skin.

Problem: if you click on the first button (violin) you see the violin-video.
BUT if you click on the viola-button (or cello or any other instrument) you also see the violin-video.

I am using the "Modal Popup" from "Ultimade addons for Elementor". I have been in contact with their support, and they say "We print the Modal Popup content through a shortcode. This is the case that the Elementor Custom Skin plugin is duplicating the skin with different results resulting in printing the same HTML. Hence, as of now, it is not possible to use the Modal Popup dynamic field feature with the Elementor Custom Skin plugin."

Is there somehow you can help?

Hi -

I noticed that when viewing the "alternating sides" examples on mobile, that the "alternate" image (on the right side) gets positioned below the excerpt rather than above, which is a bit odd. Is there a way to control that through the editor, or would I have to apply custom CSS?

The plugin is a fantastic Idea and very well Implemented and love using the elementor builder to create a loop but have run into issue with using FacetWP + ACF (advanced custom fields) as they lose custom fields on the cards after filter applied they are working perfectly before filter is applied.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Issue with custom cards and CSS. See attached screenshot. (Tested Incognito) In Elementor, posts display 100%.

After publishing and viewing (NO CACHE) The Page displays fine for a second and reverts to the screenshot attached.

Let me know if you need any further info.

Any chance of making your custom skin plugin support custom skins for post carousel or sliders? Or just making your own post slider/carousel widget that could take advantage of custom skin? Would really love a way to create a custom loop and then use it with my custom skin within a post slider or carousel. Thanks!

I believe the latest version of Elementor 2.5.x is creating problems with the query settings. They changed the interface for this, so now when I try to set the term to query by, it just hangs there trying to load my custom posts associated taxonomy. I can't get this to work at all. I also tried creating a new page and everything, but no luck.

This message was printed a lot in error log:

PHP message: PHP Notice: Elementor\Controls_Manager::add_control_to_stack was called incorrectly. Cannot redeclare control with same name. "custom_read_more_typography_letter_spacing_tablet"

Can you give me some clue to try to fix it?

In Nginx with php-fpm it cause this error: upstream sent too big header while reading response header from upstream.

P.S. I forget to say I have elementor and elementor pro installed and it happens when i have more than one loop template.

Love the functionality of the plugin from a design perspective. However, when I have it activated, I started get the following error message once trying to implement it.

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in wp-includes/kses.php on line 1585

Deactivating the plugin solves it. Reactivating the plugin brings it right back.

Any ideas on the issue or fix? I really like being able to style the loop as needed, but doesn't really matter if it takes down the whole site.

It would be great to be able to view post content within a popup or lightbox, rather than be navigated to a different page. It's come up on Elementor's blog, with a lot of "+1"s, but there's never been a response from the Elementor team . . . seems like a decent candidate (and opportunity) for Ele Skin!

And I could really use it for a site that I'm working on now. :-)

I have found archive title. With archive title you show Custom Post Type Name + Title. I want to show only Custom post type name.

I have an archive page setup with the archive posts widget, and this is enabled for all archive pages. For the tag archive links, nothing shows up on the page for the widget. It works fine for the post type archive page.

Busy updating a site on an offline backup that I haven't worked on for a while. After updating to the latest versions of ACF, Elementor and Custom Skin dynamic fields inside the loop using text area and wysiwyg editor fields are no longer being displayed.

I have verified that this is the issue by editing the loop skin and setting a simple text type field from the same table to be displayed and this works. The field is correctly displayed in the Elementor Editor

This is the live page, where it is still working - the dynamic field is the team member bio displayed when hovering over the profile pictures (the reveal is a simple css font color trick so there is no issue there either).

update Apologies on closer examination I remembered that I had enabled beta testing on my local site - rolling back to the current stable Elementor releases resolved the issue, so this is a bug introduced in the 2.6 betas

It is much better if the Post Description is also available in creating Loop Templates. The only available option we have is the Post Summary which streip off all the HTML tags.

Custom skins with the ability to display posts in justified or masonry.

As soon as I installed/activated the plugin this message comes up.

No other plugin is enabled,
as soon as I deactivate it, everything works fine again.

after moving my site to new server, having the plugin enabled is causing my home page to go blank, while all the other pages are working fine. if i deactivate the plugin the home page is loading and showing content. so when the plugin is activated the home page goes blank and every other pages shows up fine. please help on this

Is it possible to allow sorting elements of the loop by a custom field
instead of the default date DESC/ASC and random options?

With Classic or Cards, I have no issue showing more than 3 posts, but as soon as I switch to Ele Custom Skin, it only shows 3 posts per page.

I have the latest versions of Elementor (2.5.16) and Ele Custom Skin installed (1.1.0). With the recent update for dynamic background images, I am getting the following error:

Illegal string offset 'background_image' in ...\wp-content\plugins\elementor\includes\base\controls-stack.php on line 1174

I am testing with a very simple skin that only has a section with the background image set as the dynamic featured image and a heading widget with the post title. The post title renders, but the image does not. Thank you.

The plugin was working wonderfully on several sites until yesterday or so. I don't know if it stopped with an elementor update of with the most recent WP update. On one site, keeping the plugin activated greyed out the entire elementor widget panel (or it hangs and won't load). On another, I created, but couldn't load a custom loop on an archive template. On another, the (ACF) custom fields in a loop template stopped displaying.

I have been relying heavily on this plugin since I discovered it a couple of months ago, so I would hate to find it not usable any longer. I think I am using GeneratePress Theme on two of the sites and Astra with one of them. Any hints to begin troubleshooting?

Posts Extra (NAMOGO Elementor Extras) and ele-custom-skin don't work together.
I've created a loop and everything worked out fine with elementor pro posts - I can select the skin "Custom".
But with Posts Extra there is no "Custom".
Posts Extra has some nice features (infinite scroll). Is there a way to integrate ele-custom-skin into Posts Extra?

Here's the user story:

As a user, I would like to view the events related to the Artist that I'm currently viewing.

I have a Custom Post Type (created with PODs) for "Events", of which there is a Custom Field called "Artist"
I have a Custom Post Type for "Artists"
I've created Elementor templates for each CPT through the Theme Builder
I have an Ele Custom Skin to display a list of Events in a sidebar.

However, because it is being called through the template, there is no way to express a query that is dynamic enough to match Events tagged with the Artist name to the Artist page that is currently in view. I can only hard-code to a single defined tag value, which is useless.

Would you be able to extend your "Conditions" plugin to work with the query feature in Ele Custom Skin?

In a nutshell, in the loop I have an image carousel which I pull PODS gallery field. On the back end the thumbnail displays correctly and the light box opens the correct image. On the front end the thumbnails work but the light box shows a different image.

When i duplicate a Loop in the elementor template library the Type of the copy is set to "Page".

I checked the database and there is two '_elementor_template_type' meta fields for the copy.
One with page and one with loop.

Hi, I have just downloaded the Ele Custom Skin plug in, activated it, and created my first loop template. When I go to the page in which I want to display the customised post skins, I can select "custom", I can search for my new loop template in the posts widget, but when I click to select it nothing happens. While I can see the new loop template in the drop down list, I cannot select it. I'm running Elementor Pro 2.6.5 on a GeneratePress theme. Any ideas?

I had this issue with the initial install. But found that there was an issue with Elementor Addons. Disabled and it worked.

Now I have the same issue again. Elementor Addons has been removed from my site.

When you switch from Elementor default (theme default page option) to Elementor Full Width. Ele Skin Loop stops showing Post Title. Anyone else facing same issue? Any help will be highly appreciated.

I have created custom post types for an art gallery website.In the customskn loop, I've added conditions that will display alternating sections in the custom loop based on the custom post's Menu Order. But I also need to specify the menu order sorting in the Elementor Pro's Archive Posts widget.

Is there a way to add sort ordering with "Menu_Order" to the Elementor Archive Posts widget UI when selecting a custom Skin?

great plugin, that was something I was looking for! I just tried it and it meets my needs but I have one big problem: I want so style my archive pages with it but when I enable pagination and choose next page on archive page I get 404 error.

Is there something I can do to get pagination work on archives?

Is there any way to limit post summary length by letter amount, not by word amount? Regular excerpt limits don't work with "Post Excerpt", so "post summary" dynamic field is the only one to do it, but it only has word limit.
