Looks like this happens when you switch from View Mode to Edit Mode. The buttons disappear!

I get this exception from this line:

Page currPage = Parameters.getCoreManager().workingDocument().pages().get(0);

when I have tried to first import a document from file. Not sure if this is my bug or Stelios's.

When you import a document via dnd, although the doc is added to the doc list, the document instance doesn't have any pages. Where do you need to call the document's method that adds pages?

I get that scary error when I do the drag and drop import stuff. It appears to be caused by the setCurrPageImg method in core.Parameters. Anyone know why this might be?

I think this is related to GUI code, so Stelios, maybe you will be able to figure out what is happening. It's possible that a null pointer is being thrown from this line:

int newW = (int) (this.img.getWidth() * this.scaleFactor);

Maybe img is null?

Files with uppercase extensions such as .JPG (as opposed to .jpg) are grayed out in the file open dialog.

If tesseract is not installed, when you attempt to load an image, the program will hang and become unresponsive (an error is given on the command line). The only way to quit the app at that point is to kill its process manually.

Not sure what this is, maybe my startup file is corrupt? Should probably change it to a nicer error message though.
