• Install dependencies

npm install

• Import this database dump into MySQL

• Create a .env file in the root directory with these contents. replace <...> with your credentials

• If you have nodemon installed globally, start the server with

npm start

• If not, start the server with

node .

• Serve React App

starwisp-assignment's Issues

Authentication with Cookies not working

Cookies sent by the server are not being set on browsers (Brave and Chrome) but does work fine on Postman. Fix it or get rid of it and pivot.

universityController.js | Callback Hell

R, U, and D ops require attention. you know what to do.

styles.css not working in production

it works fine in development but not after yarn build.

Inappropriate Date Format

Dates are going to the server alright.
But need to show the incoming ones in the format YYYY-MM-DD.

validator.js | add relevant validators

need data validation at the back-end, as well.

No prompt before deletion of record

prompt users so that they can confirm their actions and be sure to delete a particular record.
