The SUIT RFC defines a format for firmware and delivery protocol using CBOR, which I think should replace our self-made protocol https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-suit-manifest-19.html

At present Drogue Ajour relies on Drogue Cloud device registry for the device firmware configuration. Alternative sources could be:

• File
• PostgreSQL
• Drogue Cloud Device Registry (currently supported)

The reason for supporting this would be to run Drogue Ajour in other environments, such as on Edge gateways.

The update protocol includes the status of the update for each device. It would be nice to have a console/dashboard that displays the following status per application+device:

• Target version
• Current version
• Update progress

It would be nice for the same console to allows editing applications setting the target version as well as a way to trigger builds pointing to a git url and branch.

Having build logs is useful when build has failed.
