Running The Application

To successfully run the application all you need is the project files, a machine with node 18+ installed and a valid OpenWeather API key

Clone the project

Clone the project into your system

cd into the project directory

Install dependencies

Install the project dependencies. npm i or yarn.

Add the OpenWeatherMap API Key.

Create a .env file in the project root and paste your key REACT_APP_OW_API_KEY=XXX

Start The App

If your app is already running, restart it for the environemt variable to be read by the system. Otherwise start the app by running npm start or yarn start. You can view the app in your browser by visiting http://localhost:3000

Testing

To test the app run npm test or yarn test
