Building TeXnicCenter

Requirements

The following tools and libraries are required to successfully build TeXnicCenter and all of its components:

• Visual C++ 2010 with MFC libraries
• Microsoft HTML Help Workshop
• Mercurial, freely available at http://mercurial.selenic.com/

To generate the setup you will need:

• Inno Setup available at http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php

Build Process

1. Open the TeXnicCenter solution TeXnicCenter.sln in Visual C++.
2. Choose either 'Debug' or the 'Release' solution configuration.
3. Build the complete solution. The result can be found in the newly created 'Output' folder.
