Everyone wants to TALK TO GREENGROCER and TALK TO MAN and SAY HELLO. Also ASK/TELL them ABOUT stuff. At the very least say "you don't need to talk/ask in this story."

The setting was meant to be vaguely post-medieval, or fairy-tale-ish, but Iain at first thought it was modern-era, partly because of "Dad and Mom". Maybe add some more details to make it more clear.

Use full room descriptions by default, not brief. Brendan ran into problems not noticing the back door of the chapel in the first desc, and then not realizing it wasn't showing the full desc on later entries (because of the sentence about the greengrocer). Probably a good reason that full descs are now the default in I7...

Zarf had problems trying to GET ROD and PUT ROD IN SUNDIAL, even after examining the sundial and removing the rod. But then it worked later. See attached transcript.

GROCER, HELLO prints "You speak." GROCER, TAKE CRANBERRIES" prints "[The cranberries have better things to do.]" These should instead be mistakes ("[You don't need to converse in this story.]"), i.e. not advance the clock.

Even though the hat is a container, PUT PEN IN HAT should just do the feather attachment (like PUT PEN ON HAT does now). Or maybe only if the hat is being worn?

If you don't have the knife when the man asks for it, it should print the room name (where you thought you left it) in lowercase.

When you examine the basket or the cranberries, the descriptions don't show up. Oops.

If you try to take a cranberry from the basket, it shows a message about Dad saying don't eat the merchandise. It should probably only say that when actually trying to eat a cranberry, and some other message otherwise.

When you're sitting, exiting gets converted to getting off. It should get off and then exit.

Your clothes are basically just scenery, so they shouldn't draw attention to themselves by appearing in inventory.

When you stand up from something, it shouldn't re-display the room name and description.

The basket should be printed as "basket of cranberries", rather than (e.g.) listing the cranberries on a separate indented line in the inventory, since the cranberries can never be removed.
