How to deal with object type data (instead of id,name field).

The data I received from api is in below format:

"Races":{"I":"AMER. INDIAN","A":"ASIAN","B":"BLACK","H":"HISPANIC","O":"OTHER","W":"WHITE"}

As we can see, it does not have id or name field. If this is the case then how can we use Races data for select box?

How can i get entire object on select of item rather than value?

Hi,

You did really great thing, but what i want is to use this with array of any type of object like,
array with id & name or array with id & value, but that is not the issue.

My main requirement is that on selection of item it should bind entire selected object with $scope & display just name or value from that selected item, so that i can pass entire object to rest api directly.

Please help me, how this can be achieved?

How to show selected item when ionic modal pops up

In your demo, if I select "value 2" for example and click the field again, I want to see "value 2" option selected in the modal pop up as a visual reminder of my previous selection.
