⚠	Askers is no longer maintained and has been discontinued since. This is due to the fact that i have lost interest in making it work normally again. The last version will still be available (including the next version) but there will be no updates from now on.

Important

Be aware that you can get very high ram usage for some reason. This is not Asker's fault because the stuff Askers uses to function is experiencing some problems considering that it's affecting all other akinator bots as well. Unfortunately, i have no control over that so bear with me on that. Note that this is also affecting older versions of Askers due to the api issue so it's not an option to use them either.

Features

• a settings command to change on how the game should start, e.g changing modes, button mode, etc
• start the game easily with just one command!
• change the language to other than just English! (supports many Languages!)

story

there have been many public akinator bot projects but rarely any of them allowed you to change their settings and even if it had then it would be simply in code but not through a command used in a discord server, this project was somewhat experimental that i wasn't planning on starting it since i'm maintaining other bots such as Kirbo, Dodo-Bot and lastly reviving epik-man sooner but i kinda wanted to make akinator experience much better allowing the user to have freedom in customising the game without any of single issues!

Add Indonesian Language

Too many Requests error

When trying to play Askers with using an language such as Arabic, the game continues to work until after answering some of akinator questions, it suddenly stops working with the following error to the console.

Which versions are affected?

Mostly 1.0.2 but also:

• 1.0.3: especially preview builds
• 1.0.4: it's still 1.0.3 and not fully being 1.0.4 considering that it's alpha so same thing

After testing

Trying to use english fixes the issue mentioned above. However, it eventually causes the bot to crash after answering to some of akinator questions. It seems like that this is a problem with the supporting Google Translate package that the akinator npm package has installed which Askers uses. I'll look into this and see if there is a way to fix this after a week or so depending on how much free time i have to work on Askers. Stay tuned though!
