Update-ServerMembership - A simple PowerShell script that updates Active Directory server membership to the Servers group.

This script runs as a scheduled task and will remove any disabled "server" object(s) from the "Servers" group and add any new "server" object(s) to the "Servers" group.
- Download the "Update-ServerMembership" script.
See the README.md file located in the Update-ServerMembership directory for the install and scheduling instructions.
NOTE: Follow Microsoft best-practices for the script folder location. - Create an Active Directory group named "Servers".
- In windows scheduler create a new scheduled task and call it "Update-ServerMembership".
- On the Actions tab, create a new action with the following properties:
In the Action: drop-down choose "Start a program"
In the Program/script: box type "C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe"
In the Add arguements (optional): box type "-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "<script location>\Update-ServerMembership.ps1""
NOTE: Yes the "<script location>" can be a UNC path and should be enclosed with punctuation. - On the Triggers tab, create a new trigger with the following properties:
In the Begin the task: drop-down choose "On a schedule"
Choose the One time radio button then select and .
NOTE: Figuratively and . Select the Repeat task every: check box and manually enter "8 hours" for the repeat time.
Choose "indefinately" from the for a duration of: drop-down.
