playhead manipulation

• use two encoders to show playhead movement, like a reel
• movements on encoder would momentarily affect playhead
  • pitch bumps
  • jump playhead

• just give post-filter cutoff control

Hey Dan!

I noticed that since norns 220129, clearing the buffers means we can't re-record again. Pressing K2 displays the crane, but the transport/softcut poll isn't running, so no sound gets recorded.
Commit e2e1188 exhibits the same issue with 220129 and 220306 but is working perfectly fine with 210927.

i'll forever be haunted by this idea!

an interface that allows the artist to set loop points within loops

• as the playhead moves through a loop, loop points within the loop can be activated with a number of iterations
• the playhead then will loop through those points up to that threshold, then carry on to the rest of the loop

perhaps these should be segments. so, the loop represents a timeline of both audio and events.

• need a separate screen for these segments
• instantiate any amount
• start points determine priority in overlap situations
• couple rate/direction with a segment's loop points

cranes is a really nice candidate for this sort of behavior because its timeline is inherently wiggly.
