hello.what port i need to use for GPU mining?just "result does not validate on cpu" with all cpu ports described on the pool.

1070 ti Core too high ?

I have my 1070 ti set to + 200core/ 700 mem at 65% TDP. On EWBF equihash my core is around 1650mhz average. When I run lyra2z ccminer, the core jumps over 2000, I don't let it run because I don't think it should be that high? Any idea?

Problem with Windows 10 Fall Creator Update

When I updated Windows to Fall Creator Update version, it seems Ccminer causes my system lag. No problem when running EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner. Driver has been updated to the latest version (v387.92).Please, help me fix this issue. My system detail: 6x GPU 1060 3GB. CPU Intel G3930, 4GB of RAM.
Thanks!

Update: This issue happens with Lyra2Z algo only.

P/S:
I think the author should develop another close-source version with devfee, so the miner will be better and updated sooner if any issue occurs.

Too much invalid shares

Hello can anybody help me with this, according to the miner my accepted shared are 4131/4131 but in the dashboard of my account the invalid number is 47.62% of my shares, why the long difference? which is wrong? If the miner is wrong could you tell me please which are the possible causes of so many rejected percentage please?

GPU #0: invalid device function

Hi,

I just tried to do some ZCoin mining today with my Nvidia NVS 4200M (GF119, 10DE-1056, rev. A2) card with all NVidia latest drivers installed. It works with other ccminer forks and the original as well, although with this one I get invalid device function errors.

EDIT: just tried on Amazon's GRID & Tesla cards and the result is the same

Compiling or execution issue on Ubuntu 16.04

Hi,

The compiling (using autogen.sh, configure -- and, when the error discussed next occurred, build.sh also) seems to have bullt this fork of ccminer but I keep getting the error:
" ./ccminer: error while loading shared libraries: libcudart.so.8.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory "

I think the problem may have something to do with Nvidia in the past week or two updated the Ubuntu drivers, I've currently got 384.59 and it hasn't let me re-install CUDA 8 since then (Currenly nvcc-version outputs "Cuda compilation tools, release 7.5, V7.5.17").

Based on the INSTALL file I've also:

used sudo to manually create the file /etc/profile.d/cuda.sh and it now has only the line " 'export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/cuda/bin' in it, and

(Probably most directly touching on an eventual solution) used sudo to create the file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/cuda.conf (it didn't exist before but there was a cuda-8-0.conf there from when CUDA 8 was installed before the nvidia driver update). The only line in the new cuda.conf file is "/usr/local/cuda/lib64"

Any ideas how to get this miner to function in this instance? (I've tried the CPU miner but I find the temperature gets above 80C too easily even when I used the max-temp control/flag and I'd like to give the GPU miner a whirl and see if I don't have any eminent meltdown problems using that with this computer ^_^).

CCMiner takes long time to find first share

When mininng for zcoin at suprnova like this:
/usr/local/ccminer/bin/ccminer -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:1569 -u xxx -p xxx
ccminer takes a long time (several hours) to find the first share.

After it has found the first share it looks like it has settled and many shares are found from then on.

Output is like this:

Can't install on Ubuntu- no build.sh file

Hello. I'm trying to install ccminer on ubuntu, and every guide i find on google(and in the INSTALL file) it says the final thing to do is run './build.sh', yet it doesn't exist. Can you help me out and add it back to the repo? Or give me instructions on how to install this without the build.sh file?

ccminer_cuda9

i notice way better speeds with this miner but notice every minute or so there is spikes in power and gpu load drops to 0% for a quick second. Is this normal.

Invalid Job IDs when mining to Zpool using DJM34\ccminer lyra2z

Anybody seeing a large amount of Invalid JobIDs with lyra2z when mining to Zpool using djm34/ccminer-msvc2015?

It's not consistent, but there are times where near 80% of my submissions show the error.
It happens with both the Cuda9 and non-cuda9 versions.

error message on start up

Hi when I try to start the miner error message appear: ccminer_cuda9.exe - System Error The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I have reinstalled but it didn't help. It does the same error with the other miner too.....

build.sh is missing

I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 and there's no build.sh inside unzipped archive. The instructions says to ./autogen.sh and ./configure which I did without any issues, but later it ended up with an error when doing ./build.sh

I've looked into it and found there's no build.sh file under unzipped directory?

bash: ./build.sh: No such file or directory

hello, Can you help me ? I need a ccminer compiled with capability 2.1

I don't know about program. My GPU is old , Geforce GT620M. Ccminer said "invalid device function" , but I know there must be something wrong with compiler and i know it's about compute_xx, Can you help me to compile a old ccminer with capability 2.1 ? thank you very very much.๐Ÿ˜ญ

Stratum connection interrupted

I am seeing many 'Stratum connection interrupted' errors with this miner. This happens on the following pools:

  • hashrefinery.com
  • zpool.ca

All supported algorithms are affected.

Other miners do not show these symptoms. I can rule out firewall issues, and my network is fast and very stable.

GPU #0: invalid device function

I got a GTX 770. Seems to be just trying to set the GPU frequency and keeps getting.
GPU #0: invalid device function

Any tips on how to fix this? Just keeps trying random frequencies it seems. Very strange. I'll try to look at code. I'll have to find the right compiler.

pools are reporting poor hashrates.

hey.using your miner.it gives me 4100 KH with 3x1070.but miningpoolhub and suprnova tells me only 2700 KH max.i wrote to miningpoolhubs forum.he tell me there is a bug in ccminer.can you look at this issue closer?

Cannot get it to start, error 0xc00007b

Although I installed both x86 and x64 2015 microsoft visual c++ redist, i still cant get it to work. All other miners work, like tpruvots ccminer... please help me

hashrate down (after miner update)

Hi!
I update miner ccminer_cuda9.exe (v0.2.1) to ccminer.rar (v0.3.0).
Hardware, Software (No Updates), Drivers, Parameters, Pool (MiningPoolHub)- without changes!
and i have result H/r (average of 10 computations):
1060-3Gb - 1025 (old) - 992 (new)
1060-6Gb - 1154 (old) - 1113 (new)
1080Ti - 3125 (old) - 3027 (new)
the average fall was about 3%. High peaks - no more than 5%
MSIAfterburner result 1060-6Gb:
1.some decrease in energy consumption, around 1%
sometimes 46, almost always45%, less often44 - old
sometimes 45, almost always44%, less often43 - new
2. graphics load and power consumption of the video core become more smooth. The drawdowns became more flat and decreased by the time.
Other obvious changes, I did not reveal. Thank you for your work!

Latest release v0.3.0 is over 200mb in size

Seems like something is terribly wrong with the build. Can you verify that the size is supposed to be this big?

Also, it would be nice if md5/sha sums were included in releases.
